From 23-25 September 2024, the 20th International Conference on Applied Statistics took place at UP Famnit. The conference brought together researchers and practitioners from around the world working on different aspects of data analysis, data science and statistics.

Dr. Ana Slavec, InnoRenew CoE researcher, presented two contributions, namely “Collecting visual data with web surveys: the case of bedroom flooring” and “Advancing statistical literacy among adults through interactive play”. Additionally, she joined the panel discussion on the importance of statistical literacy in education.

The conference brought together 85 participants from Slovenia, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Israel, Ethiopia and Austria.
