Dr. Ana Slavec and Mateja Erce Paoli at the 16th Jožef Štefan International Postgraduate School Students’ Conference

Dr. Ana Slavec and Mateja Erce Paoli, InnoRenew CoE researchers, had a talk about mental health of researchers at the 16th Jožef Štefan International Postgraduate School Students’ Conference in Piran.

Mateja Erce Paoli presented the COST action ReMO (Researchers Mental Health Observatory), their Researcher Mental Health Manifesto and the survey, which will be active until August 2024. They discussed with participants about the importance of mental health and what we can do at different levels (as individuals, group, institute) to improve individual and collective mental health.

Dr. Ana Slavec presented the association Young Academy of Slovenia, their Mental health Working group and the events they organized in the past, as well as other activities of the Young Academy, such as various events for better quality of postgraduate students and better working conditions for early career researchers, Mentor of the Year Award and active involvement in policy making, Eurodoc and similar. She also presented the Eurodoc Conference 2024, which will be held in Ljubljana for the first time this year.
