Visit of students from secondary woodworking schools from all over Slovenia

Dr. Črtomir Tavzes, InnoRenew CoE researcher, welcomed a group of secondary school students from all over Slovenia at the institute’s building.

The visit was organised by the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy as part of its activities to promote green public procurement. They organized a competition for secondary woodworking schools, where students made objects from waste wood. As a reward, they organised an excursion which included a visit to the InnoRenew CoE.

Students presented their projects, and Dr. Črtomir Tavzes introduced them to some of the key research activities of the InnoRenew CoE and took them through the research laboratories. He also highlighted the construction process and the characteristics of the institute’s building.
