Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, attended the event “Sustainable and timber construction of buildings – Best case studies and tour of kindergarten”, which was held 20 May 2024, in Selnica ob Dravi.

Dr. Kutnar presented the InnoRenew CoE and the institute’s building, highlighting some of the key features and challenges faced during the design and construction process of the building.

The event was organised by the Municipality of Selnica ob Dravi, in cooperation with the Community of Municipalities of Slovenia, within the framework of the EU-funded ADAPTNOW project. The aim of the event was to raise awareness on the topic of timber construction, as Slovenian and EU calls for tenders are giving more and more importance to timber and low-energy buildings.
