Amy Simmons, InnoRenew CoE’s professional associate for public relations, joined the Transform4Europe Training & Experiences Sharing Session “How to make science more engaging and sociable?”.

She presented, together with Karin Marinič, University of Primorska’s Digital Communications Editor, about social media tools for science communication. They discussed practical ways to create engaging and accessible science communication, and shared tips and tricks for effective and creative communication on social media.

The workshop was meant for academic staff, researchers and PhD students to improve their science communication competencies and to learn about citizen science, its concept and main principles, limitations and problems.
