The University of Primorska organised the Staff Week – Welcome services and support for international incoming students and staff, which took place at InnoRenew CoE from 5 to 7 March 2024.

The week started with a guided tour of the institute. Dr. Jaka Pečnik welcomed the group of participants and presented the research laboratories at InnoRenew CoE.

The Staff week focused on exploring best practices and areas for improvement, discussing how to further involve all international students in the university’s activities and how to communicate effectively with international students. Other services for international students and staff were also presented, such as visa assistance, accommodation, family placement and general integration.

The event was concluded with closing remarks from Prof. Dr. Michaël Mrissa, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation at University of Primorska.
