Vesna Starman and Lea Primožič, InnoRenew CoE’s researchers, participated in the traditional event for welcoming spring and celebrating Mother’s day, which took place in Pietro Coppo Park in Isola.

In addition to a varied programme and culinary stands, there was also a children’s corner where they could take part in workshops organised by InnoRenew CoE. Vesna Starman and Lea Primožič enthused the children about wood with activities and demonstrated the differences in the hardness of different types of wood with an experiment. They worked with different pieces of wood, dowels, sawdust and put together creative products. In addition, children were able to draw with biochar.
