On Thursday, 29 February 2024, Cross-Border Job and Career Fair Koper 2024 took place at the Arena Bonifika in Koper.

Among more than 100 exhibitors from the region and the whole Slovenia, there were also representatives from the research institute InnoRenew CoE – Nataša Bubnič, Lea Primožič and Dr. Jaka Pečnik. They presented diverse professions of the institute, and highlighted the skills needed to fill the job positions at InnoRenew CoE. Participants could learn about the jobs of researcher, laboratory technician and various support roles.

The fair was aimed for job seekers, young people, employers, support institutions and anyone interested in the job market. There was also a varied accompanying programme, such as speed-dating with employers and a lecture on employment elsewhere in Europe. The participants were welcomed and addressed by the Mayor of Koper, Aleš Bržan.
