Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, and Dr. Manja Kitek Kuzman, professor at the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, visited the Technological Development Unit (UDT) of the Universidad de Concepción (UdeC) in Chile.

During the visit they discussed with researchers and other representatives from the university. They presented their current activities and research results. Dr. Kutnar also presented the diverse InnoRenew CoE research topics. In the following days visits and discussions with researchers from the Faculty of Architecture, Center of Biotechnology, and Laboratory for Forest Products at the Engineering Faculty were organized.

The visit ended with a meeting at Pontificia Universidad Católica in Santiago and discussion with colleagues from the Faculty of Architecture and the R&D Center CENAMAD.

It was a great opportunity to foster international collaboration, facilitate exchange of knowledge and expertise, and advance scientific progress in the broad field of wood science and renewable materials.
