Dr. Ana Slavec, InnoRenew CoE researcher, attended a workshop about the challenges presented by the integration of new data types in web surveys, organised within the framework of the ERC project WEB DATA OPP: Workshop 2024.

The event took place at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and Dr. Slavec presented part of the results of her postdoctoral project. The presentation is titled “Visual data in web surveys: the case of bedroom flooring”.

The aim of the workshop was to investigate how new measurement opportunities linked mainly to the growing presence of smartphones could complement or replace conventional survey data in order to get better or new insights.
