Dr. Andreja Kutnar and dr. Črtomir Tavzes, participated in an expert consultation event about the increased use of wood in public buildings investments, which took place on 6 February 2024 in Ljubljana.

The consultation event started with opening remarks by mag. Dejan Židan, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport and Mr. Uroš Vajgl, State Secretary at the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE’s director, presented the New European Bauhaus, public procurement and how to benefit from the Operational Programme.

At the expert consultation, organised by the two ministries, experts from various organisations exchanged opinions, shared experiences and gave expert views on the increased use of wood in the design, construction and renovation of public buildings, taking into account the provisions of the Green Public Procurement Regulation.
