Recently they published the article “Interdisciplinary science of the built environment to advance regenerative sustainability,” where they presented the InnoRenew CoE.
InnoRenew CoE’s mission is to advance the state of the art in nature-based solutions, especially using wood, to support and accelerate the adoption of regenerative sustainability through material and processing advances, developing design and engineering solutions that promote sustainable, healthy built environments, and engineering living materials to bring the function and capabilities of living organisations to buildings.
The international team of researchers does this in nine state-of-the-art laboratories and research equipment in the main areas of research, namely: materials, advanced manufacturing, buildings, information processing, health, and creativity and society.
