InnoRenew CoE hosted representatives of the Slovenian wood industry, who are organized in the Association of the Wood and Furniture Industry at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. The Director of the Wood Industry Directorate at the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport was also present.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, Bogdan Božac, Dr. Jakub Sandak and Dr. Anna Sandak, presented to them the laboratories and the operation of the InnoRenew CoE, with an emphasis on cooperation with industry. In this area, some concrete opportunities for cooperation emerged.

Following they held a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Association of the Wood and Furniture Industry at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and discussed the challenges of the wood industry in Slovenia, needs in the field of research and development, social dialogue and other current issues.
