Dr. Dean Lipovac and Eva Prelovšek Niemelä, InnoRenew CoE’s researchers, have recently contributed to a handbook Wood, the material of present and future – benefits and challenges.

Published by Fit media, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, the public agency SPIRIT Slovenia, the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Association of the Wood and Furniture Industry, companies, professional and educational institutions in Slovenia, the handbook discusses why wood should be the material of first choice for construction and products and why it is underused in Slovenia.

Dr. Dean Lipovac has written an article about wood being the clear choice for building living spaces in many contexts, and Eva Prelovšek Niemelä has written an article entitled the case study of InnoRenew CoE building in Izola.
