InnoRenew CoE organized the kick off meeting of the Innovative engineered wood products made from Thermo-hydro- mechanical densified wood with enhanced physical, mechanical and fire performance (WoDeFi) project.

The meeting took place in the institute’s building where project partners form InnoRenew CoE and Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute meet to discuss about the project background, main project goals, working packages and milestones, and to agree on the first project activities.

The overall goal of the project is to apply Thermo-hydro-mechanical (THM) densification to low value wood species to develop high performance engineered timber products with enhanced mechanical properties and fire resistance.
