On Wednesday, 18 October 2023, the Rector’s Day 2023 took place, offering a varied programme for University of Primorska staff and students to meet and socialise.

They organised a wide range of activities and a rich programme of workshops, hikes, excursions and other meetings. Among many activities they prepared also a walk from Koper to Izola with two endpoints – the Archaeological Park in Simon’s Bay or a visit to the InnoRenew CoE building. Participants were greeted by Dr. Michael Burnard, InnoRenew CoE Deputy Director, who also toured around the research laboratories.

For the students, the University Sports Federation of Primorska and the Student Organisation of the University of Primorska (ŠOUP) organised the traditional sports and entertainment event Jesenska ČISTA 10ka.
