The Koper Regional Service of the Employment Agency of the Republic of Slovenia, in cooperation with the Counselling Centre for Children, Adolescents and Parents of Istria, the Koper Regional Chamber of Crafts and Enterprise and the Primorska Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organised an event to get to know different professions.

InnoRenew CoE joined the event. Vesna Starman and Dr. Črtomir Tavzes, researchers at the institute, welcomed a group of ninth-grade students and introduced different professions, and skills needed to be employed at a research institute like InnoRenew CoE. Students learned about the profession of a researcher, as well as a laboratory technician and the different support offices.

The event was aimed at ninth-grade students who are facing an important career choice. It was designed to introduce professions, job opportunities and to help them decide about their further education.
