Dr. Rok Prislan, Urban Kavka and Martina Vrhovnik, InnoRenew CoE researchers, attended the 10th Convention of the European Acoustics Association Forum Acusticum 2023 in Torino, Italy.

Dr. Rok Prislan presented the design of an impact sound vibration exposure device, Martina Vrhovnik the aspects of quantifying impact sound annoyance, and Urban Kavka about the acoustic transformation of an abandoned industrial hall into a multipurpose venue by incorporating the existing technical features of the space and DFD approach.

The Forum Acusticum 2023 was a world leading event in the areas of acoustics and vibration and a great opportunity for participants to increase their knowledge, to share new techniques and competences, in the wide range of acoustics nowadays addressed in the community.

A very attractive technical program was organozed, with 5 keynote lectures, several technical visits and invited and contributed papers, which address all the subjects of acoustics, from basic research to applied topics.
