InnoRenew CoE hosted Dr. Anna Prinz, former Ambassador of Germany in Slovenia, and Dr. Bohumil Kasal, Director of Fraunhofer WKI, an InnoRenew CoE advanced partner, and met with Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE Director. They toured the building and research facilities to see what was built with their collaboration. They also discussed the importance of InnoRenew CoE, its impacts and opportunities for Slovenia and Germany.

Fraunhofer WKI is a German research institute that focuses on process technology, natural-fiber composites, wood protection and emission control, quality assurance of wood products, recycling procedures and the use of organic building materials and wood in construction.
