The Public Agency SPIRIT Slovenia, together with the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, is organising the fourth edition of the Slovenian Wood Days. It is the main national professional event of the Slovenian timber industry, which will take place on 24-25 May 2023 at the Congress Centre Thermana Park Laško.

Discussions will focus on current energy challenges, supply chains in the woodworking industry, development incentives, human resources in the woodworking industry and the promotion of the woodworking profession, the development of new products and brands, circular design and digitisation.

Among speakers is also Dr. Črtomir Tavzes, InnoRenew CoE researcher, who will present a model for predicting the economic and environmental aspects of wood processing and use.
