Dr. Črtomir Tavzes, InnoRenew CoE researcher, attended the Slovenian Wood Days and presented a model for predicting the economic and environmental aspects of wood processing and use.

The event was organized by the Public Agency SPIRIT Slovenia, together with the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport. It is the main national professional event of the Slovenian timber industry. This year it was held at the Congress Centre Thermana Park Laško.

Discussions at the event focused on current energy challenges, supply chains in the woodworking industry, development incentives, human resources in the woodworking industry and the promotion of the woodworking profession, the development of new products and brands, circular design and digitisation.
