Dean Lipovac and Matic Sašek, InnoRenew CoE researchers, attended the final conference and project meeting of the DESIgn for all methods to cREate age-friendly housing project, which was held 2-3 November 2022 in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The main goal of the meeting was to present plans for the last part of the project, finalization of deliverables and remaining activities. The following day they attended the international conference Age-friendly environment, to learn about the latest knowledge on creating age-friendly environments, universal design and human-centred design, and how to consider ageing in society, communities, architecture and design.

Matic Sašek presented the topic of the built environment and older adults for an active and healthy ageing, while Dean Lipovac discussed the biophilic design and gave an overview of theory and practice.
