The 1st European teaming conference took place in Cyprus. The welcome address was given also by Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, attended the conference and presented the InnoRenew CoE, center of excellence, and gave a keynote speech about the importance of the European Teaming Club. It was established in 2017 as an informal club connecting representatives from all Teaming-Phase 2 winning projects, including InnoRenew CoE.  Its members agree that these meetings are an opportunity to identify shared challenges and common strategies.

Other speakers discussed key topics related to the research and innovation ecosystems, impacts of the centres of excellence, lessons learned, and the business models and best practices of centres of excellence. Further they presented the collaboration opportunities.
