Nastja Podrekar Loredan, Kaja Kastelic, Dr. Michael Burnard and Dr. Nejc Šarabon, InnoRenew CoE researchers, recently published a new scientific article »Ergonomic evaluation of school furniture in Slovenia: from primary school to university«.

Children and adolescents spend up to a third of their day in educational institutions, where they spend most of their time seated. Inadequate school furniture can contribute to the incidence of discomfort and pain, and can also have a negative impact on students’ participation and concentration.
