InnoRenew CoE joined several Festival of the New European Bauhaus events.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, attended the Vatican conference “Reconstructing the future for people and planet,” and Dr. Iztok Šušteršič, InnoRenew CoE research group leader, joined “COST Action Connect” in Brussels.

InnoRenew CoE hosted a Wood4Bauhaus event at its building on the Festival’s last day.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar summarized the discussions that took place at the Vatican conference, which was attended by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. In addition, Uwe Kies, Secretary General of InnovaWood, and Kris Wijnendaele, Technical Director of the European Panel Federation, presented the Wood4Bauhaus alliance. This alliance aims to connect organizations and showcase wood as a material that provides solutions to the climate crisis.
