Radio Koper is organizing a series of talks about European Union topics in cooperation with Europe Direct Koper – Capodistria. Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, joined the talk dedicated to the theme of a green Europe.

The discussion focused on the European Green Deal and the strategy for Europe to become the first climate-neutral continent by 2050.

Dr. Kutnar presented how InnoRenew CoE is tackling these challenges.

“Today, when we are living in an era when we need to reduce our environmental impact, it is extremely important that we also make the buildings in which we spend 80 percent of our time greener,” Dr. Kutnar said.

InnoRenew CoE’s research focus is precisely on how the built environment affects human health and how people recover from stressful events in these environments, while at the same time being aware of and finding solutions to minimize energy use in these buildings.
