On 5 May 2022, InnoRenew CoE hosted a webinar from Dr. Marcin Szczepański, a Gdańsk University of Technology (GUT) expert researcher.

Dr. Szczepański, from GUT’s Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, presented thermal insulation use in a structure’s wooden skeleton as an element to stiffen the object, which significantly improves its dynamic parameters, including the building’s dynamic response to seismic loads.

GUT is a leading university and research center in Poland, and it is also a gold member of Living Lab InnoRenew.
