InnoRenew CoE hosted a group of students from the Laboratory of Wood Technology, Ghent University (Belgium). The students are enrolled in the Nature and Forest Management program, and their visit was part of a study trip to Slovenia.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, welcomed the students, and Dr. David B. DeVallance, InnoRenew CoE research group leader for Renewable Materials Composites, presented InnoRenew CoE and its research activities.

Dr. Iztok Šušteršič, InnoRenew CoE research group leader for Sustainable Building with Renewable Materials, also discussed the building’s construction process and the institute’s research equipment.

The visit ended with a tour of InnoRenew CoE and its laboratories.
