Aleksandar Tošić and Niki Hrovatin, InnoRenew CoE researchers, together with Jernej Vičič from the University of Primorska’s Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies, published an article, “PPWSim: Privacy preserving wireless sensor network simulator,” in the journal SoftwareX.

In this paper, the researchers present a study about PPWSim, a simulator developed to study a privacy-preserving communication protocol for edge data processing in wireless sensor networks (WSN). The developed simulator is based on the nsnam NS3 simulation environment and can be used as a framework for developing other WSN simulators.
