The European Conference on Wood Modification is a firmly established event dedicated to global wood modification technologies. This year’s conference was held in Nancy, France.

Dr. Anna Sandak, InnoRenew CoE research group leader for Wood Modification, and Dr. René Herrera joined the conference and participated in the poster session. Dr. Sandak presented hyperspectral imaging’s feasibility for the evaluation of wood modification. Dr. Herrera presented the improvement of wood’s thermal stability through surface and modification treatments.
