InnoRenew CoE hosted members of the IGozd-les working group for the preparation of the “Implementation Plan of Measures for the Development of the Wood Processing Industry until 2030,” which is being prepared by InnoRenew CoE, Deloitte and the Department of Wood Science and Technology at the University of Ljubljana’s Biotechnical Faculty for the Republic of Slovenia Ministry of Economic Development and Technology’s Wood Industry Directorate.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, presented the draft proposals for action. Participants held a discussion and made suggestions for further improving the document.

Danilo Anton Ranc, Director-General of the Wood Industry Directorate at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, was present and emphasized that the preparation of such documents is proof of the wood sector’s importance.

InnoRenew CoE researchers also gave a tour of the institute’s new building and presented their research and development equipment to the participants.
