InnoRenew CoE hosted representatives from the Restoration Center at the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia (ZVKDS).

Dr. Jakub Sandak, InnoRenew CoE researcher, is collaborating with the center on a project for analyzing a triptych from the Saint Dominic church in Izola.

With the help of InnoRenew CoE’s state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and non-invasive spectroscopy and thermography techniques, the researchers will examine what is hiding below the triptych’s surface, the only one is Slovenia of such dimensions from the Venetian Gothic period.
