Dr. Laetitia Marrot, InnoRenew CoE researcher, participated in the Sustainable composites – Use of hemp in construction and implementation conference in the Goričke iže tourist complex, organized by the Goričke iže resort in collaboration with the company CoGreen.

Dr. Marrot gave a lecture on the state of the art for the hempcrete building product and challenges linked to its use for sustainable construction.

The Goričke iže resort, located in Slovenia’s Prekmurje region, offers the experience to stay and sleep in a house made of hempcrete and is currently in the process of building a second house of this type.
