Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, attended the High-level Workshop on research and innovation for the New European Bauhaus, held on 30 November 2021 in Brussels.
The European Commission (EC) created the New European Bauhaus to connect all Europeans and invite them to co-create a future way of living. It incorporates goals of the European Green Deal, art, culture, technology and science to create the sustainable, inclusive and beautiful built environments of the future.
The EC mobilized nearly €85 million of funding for New European Bauhaus projects from different EU programmes in 2021–2022. Further, they plan to arrange other Horizon Europe programmes to finance and support the New European Bauhaus.
At the High-level Workshop, leading experts shared their views on research and innovation strategies supporting the New European Bauhaus. They also discussed the co-creation process for future Horizon Europe Work Programmes.
InnoRenew CoE is New European Bauhaus partner.
