Dr. Iztok Šušteršič, InnoRenew CoE research group leader, attended the international conference, Circular Economy with Industrial Hemp, on 21 October 2021 in Bad Radkersburg, Austria.

Participants discussed industrial hemp as a good example of sustainable agriculture and the opportunities it brings to the economy.

Dr. Šušteršič took part in a panel discussion about sustainable construction, energy renovation and new buildings.

The conference was held to share knowledge and enhance collaboration in the industrial hemp value chain, identify opportunities for collaboration and technology development, and learn about good practices.
