For Erasmus Days 2021, partners in the “DESIgn for all methods to cREate age-friendly housing (DESIRE)” project will bring the project’s activities closer to the public.

The DESIRE project aims to create age-friendly housing using restorative environmental and ergonomic design (REED) principles.

Further, the project strives to provide the building industry and home furnishings professionals with tools and skills to integrate D4All methods — a tool that ensures accessibility, well-being and health (physical and mental) for older adults and enables conscious use of the needs analysis as required by end-user involvement — into the design process.

Project partners prepared a report that analyzed and compared skill gaps in the D4All methods in Slovenia, Slovakia and Portugal.
