Students from the University of Primorska’s Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies, Department of Biodiversity and Department of Psychology, organized the first Biological-Psychological Student Conference from 9–10 October 2021 in Koper, Slovenia.
Dean Lipovac, InnoRenew CoE researcher, joined the conference as a member of the scientific committee.
“I am very glad I participated in such a well-organized and lively conference,” he said. “It was great to see students’ contributions, which were exceptionally diverse, interesting, and of high quality.”
At the conference, Dean Lipovac met with Dr. Thomas Brudermann, an associate professor at the University of Graz, Austria, who was one of the invited speakers. Dr. Brudermann holds a doctoral degree in psychology and studies decision making related to sustainability transitions and climate psychology. The two discussed common research topics and future collaboration opportunities.
The conference’s goal was to connect students interested in broadening their knowledge about biology and psychology and give them the opportunity to present their research, practice their presentation skills and meet new people.
