The Statistical Society of Slovenia, together with the University of Ljubljana’s Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Medicine, held the 17th Applied Statistics Conference online from 20 to 22 September 2021.

Dr Ana Slavec, InnoRenew CoE consulting statistician, participated in the conference and presented a case study of two web surveys for improving the representativeness of non-probability samples. She also joined the “SHARE dataset and analysis of nonstandard data: Examples and applications” workshop.

The yearly conference provides an opportunity for researchers to come together, present their latest work and findings and learn from each other.
