Today, prof. dr. Zdravko Kačič, University of Maribor’s rector, visited InnoRenew CoE’s construction site in Izola.

Dr Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE’s director, welcomed him and presented the process of designing and building the largest wooden building in Slovenia.

“I am convinced that our new building will be an important opportunity for even greater cooperation with the University of Maribor, and laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment will enable us to carry out breakthrough research in the field of renewable materials and sustainable construction,” said Dr Kutnar.
