Within InnoRenew CoE’s Workshop and Machine Shop, state-of-the-art equipment is utilized to transform materials from their initial shape into useful items, precision-manufactured test specimens and even works of art.

Dr David DeVallance, research group leader for InnoRenew CoE’s Renewable Materials Composites group, prepared a tour of the workshop (video below), and he invites everyone to visit and co-create new products, learn new woodworking skills or just enjoy the beautiful art of wood working.

InnoRenew CoE infrastructure and equipment investments are financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Slovenia’s Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. State-of-the-art equipment is distributed across eight laboratories.
