Dr Michael Burnard, InnoRenew CoE deputy director, will join an online event, “Horizon Europe Widening Participation and Spreading Excellence”, to be held at 13:00 on 6 July 2021. This event is organized as part of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU.

Dr Burnard will participate in a roundtable discussion and present the experience of InnoRenew CoE.

To open the event, Slovenian presidency and research organization representatives will discuss the importance of the Widening program. Following this, there will be presentations about the experiences of previous Widening projects and the first two destinations for Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area working program.
