On Wednesday, 19 May 2021, the Republic of Slovenia’s Government adopted the Resolution on Research and Innovation Strategy of Slovenia 2011-2020.

Among the findings, successful operation of InnoRenew CoE is mentioned as well as successful project leadership from the University of Primorska and cooperation with the German institute Fraunhofer WKI.

Data show improvement of international recognition and research excellence in Slovenia as expenditure and investment for research and development has increased since 2018. Out of 69 set measures, only 37 were implemented; the rest remained unimplemented or were not implemented to the end.
