Dr Oihana Gordobil, researcher in InnoRenew CoE’s Wood Modification group, successfully applied for a short-term scientific mission (STSM) with COST Action CA17128-Establishment of a Pan-European Network on the Sustainable Valorisation of Lignin (LignoCOST).

Dr Gordobil visited the Health division of Tecnalia in Spain from 3-21 May 2021. The main goal of the visit was to study the biological profile of industrially generated lignin and learn about methodologies and techniques used in the field of microbiology.
