Woodrise is an international congress for the development of wooden construction. This year, the congress will be held online and in person in Kyoto, Japan, from 15-18 October 2021.

Dr Michael Burnard, InnoRenew CoE deputy director, will be one of the Woodrise 2021 speakers. He will present “Healthy and Sustainable Buildings with Wood” in the Effectiveness and Advantages of Wood Use plenary session.

Woodrise 2022 is being organized by InnoRenew CoE and the University of Primorska. It will be held in Portorož, Slovenia, from 6-9 September 2022.
