Dr Anna Sandak, Dr Jakub Sandak and Dr Veerapandian Ponnuchamy, InnoRenew CoE researchers, recently published an article, “Revealing of Supercritical Water Gasification Process of Lignin by Reactive Force Field Molecular Dynamics Simulations”, in Processes.

In the article, the authors present their research about gasification with supercritical water, which is an efficient process that can be used for the valorization of biomass. Understanding lignin’s gasification mechanism is crucial for biomass energy efficiency.

Processes is in an international, peer-reviewed and open access journal with an impact factor of 2.753.
