László Hajdu, Dr Balázs Dávid and Dr Miklós Krész, InnoRenew CoE researchers from the ICT research group, recently published an article, “Gateway placement and traffic load simulation in sensor networks”, in Pollack Periodica, an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal.

“We developed a simulation environment for testing different information spreading methods in sensor networks in order to provide suggestions for gateway placements with different objectives,” Dr Dávid said.

Research about wireless sensor networks has become an important area in the last few years due to the great spread of smart devices.
