Dr Ana Slavec, InnoRenew CoE researcher, finished her PhD in statistics from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana. Her career story can be found in the faculty’s biannual magazine Kariernik, which presents their graduates’ career paths. The latest issue focuses on professions of the future that were not known at the time of their students’ studies.

Dr Slavec writes about her work at InnoRenew CoE and discusses how her social science knowledge contributes significantly to the interdisciplinary work and projects of the research institute, which mainly focuses on natural science and technology. She also describes advising her co-workers about how to work with data — how to store and take care of them appropriately.
