InnoRenew CoE’s acoustics laboratory is fully equipped to measure architectural and building acoustics, noise control, structural dynamics and vibrations. Sound absorbing surfaces in this lab enable precise measurements without environmental influences.

An acoustic camera and higher order Ambisonics system are two of this lab’s most interesting pieces of equipment. Dr Rok Prislan, InnoRenew CoE’s researcher in the field of acoustics, presents their functions and practical applications in the video below.

InnoRenew CoE infrastructure and equipment investments are financed by the European Regional Development Fund and Republic of Slovenia’s Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. State-of-the-art equipment is distributed across eight laboratories.
