The Society of Wood Science and Technology (SWST) 63rd International Convention, hosted by the InnoRenew CoE and University of Primorska, 12-15 July 2020, will be held online for the first time.

SWST closely monitored the situation regarding the coronavirus diseases and reached this decision in order to guarantee the health of everyone involved. Organizers are preparing everything necessary to make this experience great and unique.

Many aspects of the traditional SWST convention will be maintained, including the welcome reception on Sunday, 12 July 2020 at 18:00 (Central European Summer Time), session presentations, early stage researcher and poster sessions and the student poster competition.

One significant change is the convention’s timing. For all three days, sessions will be held between 16:00-19:30 (Central European Summer Time).

Another important change is that registration will be free of charge and include one-year free membership in SWST (contingent on active convention participation).
