COST Action CA18234 – Computational materials sciences for efficient water splitting with nanocrystals from abundant elements held a working groups and management committee meeting 11-13 February 2020 in Naples, Italy.

Dr Veerapandian Ponnuchamy, InnoRenew CoE researcher in the Wood Modification group, attended as a management committee member.

In conjunction with the meeting, the University of Naples FEDERICO II organized the International Conference on Computational Materials Science for Nanoscale Modelling. The conference opened with a keynote presentation on multi-scale modeling of catalytic devices from Maytal Caspary Toroker (Israel), chair of this COST Action.

Topics discussed at the meeting and conference were very useful for Dr Ponnuchamy as they are in line with research projects he is currently working on at InnoRenew CoE.
